Science T3 W1

In science we have been learning about how day and night works. We got given in our groups a small piece of paper, a paper clip, a small Styrofoam sphere, a pen, some sellotape and instructions. We put it all together to make a globe that can spin. After that we got a light so we could shine it towards the globe as we slowing spun it, this represented how day and night works. We watched how NZ's day and night worked. Then we made a stop motion explaining how it works while we spun the globe with the light on it.

  1. Hi Wave, thank you for this neat explanation. Doing the inquiry looks like a good way to really understand how day/night works. Next time I tell you it's late at night and you need to go to sleep you'll be quick to do so! xx Mum.
